Ryan M. Ross
Ryan M. Ross is a freelance author who prefers to view himself as a “father who writes for his sons”. He began writing as he and his [then much younger] oldest son Alexander discovered a mutual love of storytelling. The two often found themselves creating stories while playing, riding in the car or simply having a conversation. As the stories grew in detail, so did the need to record and illustrate them. And since Alexander’s medium of choice was construction paper, a “Construction Paper Kingdom™” was born.
Ross is a native of Western Pennsylvania, where he lives with his wife Kristy and their two sons Alexander and Nicholas. Ross is an Educational Technologist by trade; his wife an elementary school teacher. Together they often discuss ideas for expanding their children's learning experiences. Ross' passion for family, reading, storytelling, role-playing and outdoor activities are building blocks for stories such as “Prince Alexander & The Curse of The Soul Stealing Slumber©” and “Prince Nicholas & The Journey to The Sunken Kingdom©” – the first stories in the Construction Paper Kingdom™ collaborative series.
